LRF to MOBI problems

Hi. I'm a Calibre newbie so be kind if I am asking a stupid question. I have searched the forum but not found the answer to my problem.

I have an LRF book I want to convert to read on my Kindle. When I run the conversion the output is broken up as follows

I can't see any settings for double spacing and have tried heuristic processing. Can anybody offer a solution?

On the device each line wraps at default font size, so I get a line and a half then a blank line. Makes it very difficult to read.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks

Ian

Heuristic processing covers a lot of commonly formatted books, but not every case is covered. Open a bug with the book and I can see if its' formatting can be added to Heuristic processing.

Alternatively convert the book to text using markdown or Textile output, then convert back to whatever format you want with Heuristic processing enabled. That should get rid of whatever html is tripping up Heuristics.

Tried that. converting the input to txt/textile caused an index error but converting to rtf, then out to mobi using heuristic processing seems to work fine.

Thanks for the help.
