Well folks if you dont want to switch from iBooks to KyBook 2 or Marvin then there is another option.

You can use another program to do what you used to do with iTunes. iMazing or SyncIOS or similar works fine.

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with any of these products.

You don't have to stop using iTunes, you just additionally use this for books.

move ibook to pc (and then to calibre)

I confirm that iTunes for PC no longer supports ibooks. If you run itunes for PC, you can no longer see the ibooks that are on your phone

To move a ibook on my iphone to my pc (and from there I clicked on the epub file to add it to calibre, which works assuming you have calibre installed on your pc) I found this little free program called eMazing

Google it. Download and install it. Its free and it worked great for me.

It installed easily on my pc. You run it on the pc. When I ran it, it let me select my iphone 8 which I had plugged into my pc using a Lightning to USB cable. Then it let me select the ibooks app, and it successfully copied an ibook I selected over to a folder on my pc.

Easy-peasy.

It seems that the free version of eMazing will only allow 5 ibook transfers, but if you only have a few ibooks to move to your pc, its a really easy way to do it.

Hope this helps.
