Hello from the Forest

Warm greetings from the oak and redwood forests of N. California, USA

I recently purchased a Kobo Reader device at the local Border's Books as they were closing out the store. I'm enjoying the device more than expected. It's a real pleasure to read using my Kobo.

I'm using it to read the Fire and Ice series. Starting with the first book A Game of Thrones, I'm well into book 3, A Storm of Swords.

Pros: Easy to read, especially with the cover purchased from Amazon. It's just like reading a paper book where all the pages are on the right.

Cons: Only a single bookmark per page. Battery life is not a good as hoped.

Good to have your company, Bob. Happy Koboing and best wishes. Neil

PS: Do you charge via USB to your computer or laptop or via the mains. Disappointing battery life can usually be improved with a full mains charge. A mains charging cable costs very little but can make one heck of a difference. N
