Und wieder schlagen deutsche Verlage zu, ich bin als Fan von Neal Stephenson über sein Buch Anathem gestolpert. In deutsch kostet das Buch 29,95€ in Englisch 7,95€ Gebunden 14,95€. Als deutsches eBook Preisgünstige 23,99€
Warum hab ich als Kind bloß nicht im eng.Unterricht besser aufgepasst.
Diese Preisunterschiede sind für mich einfach nicht zu rechtfertigen.

Niemand versteht die Preispolitik der Verlage.
Die wollen einfach nichts verkaufen, oder wollen einfach mehr daran verdienen.

Derzeit hat es sich etabliert, den eBook-Preis 15-20% niedriger anzusetzen. Eine Preispolitik, die man sich bei Paperbacks (im Verhältnis zum Hardcover) nie wagen würde.

Muss jeder Verlag selbst wissen. Ich würde dir ja vorschlagen, dein Englisch aufzumöbeln und deutlich zu sparen.

Ich warte liebe noch ein Jahr dann kommt bestimmt das Paperback und der Preis für das eBook ist dann unter Paperback. War bei den anderen Büchern von Neal Stephenson genau so.

Ja, das ist das Alberne daran - sobald das Paperback erscheint, wird der Preis fürs eBook gesenkt. Anstatt dass man gleich von Anfang an auf einen günstigen Preis setzt.

Mich würde mal interessieren ob die Bücher in Frankreich und z.B. Italien auch so teuer sind oder nur hier in Deutschland

Das läßt sich insbesondere bei SciFi-Büchern schwer vergleichen, weil die in Deutschland fast ausschließlich als Taschenbuch erscheinen. Um bei Neal Stephenson zu bleiben - sein Roman Snow Crash kostet in Deutschland als Taschenbuch 9,90 € - in Frankreich, lt. Amazon.fr, als Hardcover 20 EUR. Ein Taschenbuch dieses Titels gibt es dort nicht (oder zumindest ist es nicht bei Amazon.fr gelistet)
