Hacking like we had for the 500?
I am curious... now that we seem to have a reliable way to reflash the 505 (thanks to igorsk), wouldn't it be trivial to write hacks similar to how it has been done for the 500?

It's "reliable" as long as you use pre-tested images. If you b0rk the xml when making a new hack on your own, you won't have a way to restore the firmware without going via the serial console.

Ahhh gotcha!
So we probably need to wait for the first official firmware upgrade from Sony? |
