Subtitled A California Mystery.
This book is called L'Ecole de Robinsons in French and an alternate English language title is School for Crusoes. The young man of the title, from San Francisco, accompanied by Professor Tartlett, embarks on a world-wide cruise but ends up shipwrecked. The book contains illustrations and I have added a copy of one of the early edition covers. First published in 1883.
