Thanks very much for the comparison! What I take away from this is that the Oasis is a good improvement for people who read holding the reader in one hand. What we're losing from the Voyage is the self-adjusting light, the haptic buttons and mainly, for me, the Origami cover which allows propping. Since I never read holding the reader in one hand, this is a very helpful video!

I really love your vids! I wish you'd cover Kobo ereaders.

Here in Canada, Id LOVE to buy a Kindle ereader, but they are both pricier than in the U.S, and lack features like library borrowing.

It looks like such a fantastic line of devices, but I cant justify the costs. Especially for the Voyage or Oasis, both of which are $100 more expensive! ($400 + tax for the Oasis here)

Still, I have to adore the craftsmanship of the devices.

I think making the cover independently chargeable would have required making it thicker: it seems to me to be too thin for a micro-USB plug.
