Calibre 4.6 Lost Alternating Row Colors

Since installing Calibre 4.6 my main interface screen rows are all white, i.e., the rows used to be alternating white and blue. I have defined a couple of column coloring rules and the text still has those colors, I've just lost the row coloring. It isn't a real big deal, it just made the spreadsheet portion of the main interface easier to read, but I would like to repair if possible.

This has happened on two different computers.

Is anyone else seeing this? Does anyone have any thoughts as to how I can fix this?

We now have Dark mode capability.
I bet alternating WITH dark mode would be a nightmare to code

if you mean seeing the alternating when you have dark mode applied, I have mine that way, but I didn't choose it. I had alternating before I applied the dark mode. my rows are black and gray alternating.

Hmmm. I'm using a Mac with Mojave OS. I had dark mode on. When I turned light mode on my rows became alternating white & light grey which is what they used to be. I restarted Calibre and the alternating rows disappeared. I then turned dark mode back on and the rows reappeared as alternating white & light grey but when I restarted Calibre the alternating rows again disappeared.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

This may be a known problem, try searching the Calibre forum for "Mojave Dark".

In macOS dark mode, alternating row colors are disabled, because the color chosen for them by Qt is not suitable.
