Einfach nur so: Ich freu mich so über mein PB :-)
Ist vielleich ein bisschen OT, weil einfach nur Gefühlsausbruch: Ich freue mich jeden Tag über mein PB301, habe es immer dabei und lese bei jeder Gelegenheit. Ich glaube, ich werde damit generell mehr lesen als vorher, weil's einfach so praktisch ist, weil ich damit so viel Literatur-Auswahl auf Tastendruck zur Verfügung habe und weil ich dank der kleinen LED-Lampe, die ich mir dazu angeschafft habe, beim Lesen niemanden störe. Gestern abend hab ich z.B. meinen kleinen Sohn ins Bett gebracht und ein bisschen geschmökert, während er einschlief
Anfangs fand ich das Display schon ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, einfach weil der graue Hintergrund doch nicht ganz so hell ist wie eine Buchseite. Aber inzwischen habe ich aufgehört, das Display mit Papier zu vergleichen, und vergesse völlig, dass ich ein Ebook lese. Auch das Umblättern geht ja wirklich flott und ich finde es inzwischen viel praktischer als das Blättern im Buch, zumal ich beim Lesen gern auf der Seite liege und das ist mit gebundenen, klotzigen Büchern manchmal nicht so praktisch. Was lest ihr denn gerade so? Ich habe mir einiges aus eurem tollen Wiki runtergeladen (an dieser Stelle mal danke an diejenigen, die sich damit solche Mühe machen) und freue mich über meine neue kleine klassische Bibliothek. Momentan gefällt es mir gerade gut, dass mein modernes Lesegerät mit Klassikern gefüllt ist. Ich lese gerade "Jane Eyre", finde ich gerade richtig zur Weihnachtszeit. Also für einen Bücherfresser wie mich ist das PB eine goldrichtige Anschaffung. Technische Erfahrungen kann ich noch nicht viele kundtun, weil ich das PB ja leider nicht mit meinem Mac verbunden bekomme und deshalb eben einfach Bücher auf die SD-Karte speichere und fertig. Aber dafür ist der Reader ja da - einfach zum Lesen und das macht mir die allergrößte Freude damit. Gefühlsausbruch Ende Sorry wegen der sinnfreien Mitteilsamkeit. Bin ja ehrlich, mit meinem rudimentären Schulenglisch komm ich bei den english books nicht so weit... leider, man hat ja dann doch wesentlich mehr Auswahl.

Dann geb ich Dir 'nen Tipp (so hat's bei mir geklappt): Lies zuerst auf Englisch einen Titel, den Du schon auf Deutsch kennst. Dann erschließen sich viele Vokabeln und Redewendungen deutlich schneller. Dann - und erst dann - fang mit Dir unbekannten Büchern an (vorzugsweise zuerst solche desselben Autors, von dem Du schon Bücher auf Deutsch gelesen hast).

Danke für den Tipp, hast ja auch recht, Eagleeye. Wenn ich allerdings ganz einfach zur Entspannung lesen möchte, wird's mir mit dem Englischen trotzdem zu anstrengend *schäm*

Danke! Dir (und allen Anderen hier im Forum) auch schöne und geruhsame Weihnachtsfeiertage.
Btw... geht es mir so ähnlich wie Dir. Ich freue mich auch sehr über mein Pocketbook, weil es so klein und leicht ist und das Lesen damit so einfach geht (viel einfacher als bei gebundenen, klotzigen Büchern wie Du so schön schreibst). |

Ist überhaupt nicht off-topic! Gefühlsausbrüche sind hier jederzeit herzlich willkommen. Freut mich, dass du so happy bist mit deinem PB. Mir geht es mit dem 360-er ähnlich, das ich seit dem Wochenende habe. Gestern stand ich 2 Stunden lang im Münchner Schnee-Verkehrs-Chaos und habe zwischen Stop and Go fröhlich vor mich hingelesen. War richtig schön, ich war fast traurig als der Verkehr wieder ins Rollen kam...

Ging mir auf meiner Zugfahrt nach Wiesbaden (via Mainz und Köln) ähnlich. Das kleine Ding schnell aus der Innentasche geholt, ein paar Seite lesen, wieder in die Tasche, umsteigen, usw. Einmal hätte ich fast verpasst auszusteigen. Stieg Larsson war Schuld.

Mir gehts genauso wie dir: hoffnungslos überzeugt.. Nur mit der Lampe die heut von Amazon kam, bin ich noch nicht so 100% glücklich: http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_ss_0_1...sram+led+multi Der Verstellbereich ist nicht so der Hammer beim 301er, die Lampe wirft einen unangenehmen Schatten von der Lederhülle wenn ich sie oben an diese anklipse. Ich bin dazu übergegangen sie an den Deckel derselben festzumachen, d.h. sie leuchtet von links auf den Reader, wenn dieser halb aufgeklappt ist. Morgen sollte die zweite Variante einer Lampe kommen, mal gucken ob mir die symphatischer ist. Dann verbleibt halt eine davon bei den "Normalbüchern". lg Winni |

Na dann bin ich aber froh, dass ich mit Gefühlsausbrüchen hier nicht völlig fehl am Platze bin - es geht doch nichts über eine gesunde Portion Fetischismus, oder
Ich habe diese Lampe hier: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000..._ya_oh_product Vom Licht her ist sie schon okay, aber es stimmt, bei mir wirft sie auch einen Schatten, zumal ich das PB in der Lederhülle habe, was die "Umrandung" noch vergrößert. Die ganz optimale Lampe scheint es noch nicht zu geben, oder doch? |

Danke für den Tipp, Forkosigan. Stimmt, das ist diese Lampe, die so ein bisschen aussieht wie ein Insekt Aber ist die Klammer nicht sehr dick? Könnte man die gut an der Lederhülle festklemmen?
