Where do you buy one ? Clippings ?
A couple of simple questions:
1. Where do you buy a Hanlin ? 2. Do any of them allow you to clip out text from a book to a clippings file, like the Kindle does, to be used on a PC ? Many thanks, Hal. |

Hanlin readers are sold under a number of different names - in Europe BeBook, Lbook and others for instance.
Clippings - this is possible for file formats such as FB2 when you are using the Coolreader viewer wich is the normal viewer for some formats on Lbook s/w (but not necessarily on other varieties. My comment mainly apply to Hanlin V3 (Jinke make other versions such as the V5 which go by other OEM names. BobC |

Sounds hopeful
Clippings is where you highlight sentances or psragraphs in an ebook on your ereader, but the ereader then also deposits the highlighted text into a separate file, generally a text file. This file can then be dragged to your PC. You now have the extract as a "clipping". The Kindle does this perfectly storing each clipping in the same file, each with book title. You can then use the clipping in other programs or emails. Pocketbooks do the same.
Do you think the Astak does this? |

I honestly don't know. AFAIK the LBook, the HanLin and the Triple Booter von Tirwal have no such option (or it's hidden really good ).
Perhaps the OpenInk firmware? You could ask Robertb about the EZReader (Astak). |
