Anyone else notice words starting with letter b start with an h instead?
I too often find words that should start with the letter b end up starting with the letter h in error. Is this a weird calibre conversion issue or just a coincidence type typo by authors?

What character set (locale)? Are thes accented characters?
AFAIK that might be the only time Calibre substitutes. I believe this is just a bad OCR proof job. Have you verified the Publishers original format? |

What format are you converting from and what format are you converting to?

I will compare the original to the converted for the same off words in the AM and update.

This is not a calibre conversion issue. You will find the source has these errors to start. Nor were these typos, they were OCR errors when the books were converted to digital.

Bizarre
I just confirmed that the issue is not done during the calibre conversion. It apparently is the font I use (Roboto-thin) when reading in Moon Reader + causing the letter b at the start of a word to look exactly like the font's h letter. It seems to be only occurring with some words that start with the letter b and have certain vowels as the next letter as b's are shown correctly in other words. Very strange.

Good grief - culprit was in moon + reader miscellaneous settings/name replacement.
