No sound using Safari web browser
When I am in a web page I can see it perfectly but if that site has a sound clip or anything with sound I can not use that feature. Only You Tube works fine.
Any help appreciated. |

well it depends on the web site. if it doesn't stream sound in a format that mobile safari (the version on your ipad) can translate, it won't work. and if it's flash content, well, it certainly isn't going to work.
what is the web site..? you also might want to go to apple's official ipad support forum. |

If you can access the sites in question from a computer, try right clicking on the source..if it says "About Adobe Flash Player 10" or something..that would be the problem

So, if that's the case, can I download that Flash app to the Ipad and solve that problem?
Say I download this app: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...ashplayer.html Last edited by ashort; 06-18-2010 at 02:10 PM. |

Ok, just discovered one of the web sites uses Windows Media Player. So there's an app for the Ipad for this? Excuse my ignorance but I'm a newbie on this. Thanks!!
