How do I do a rebuild?

I copy my Calibre library to my wife's Mac using a program called Chronosync. Every so often I open Calibre on her computer and Calibre determines that the library is messed up and rebuilds itself (apparently successfully).

Is there a command that I can do to make Calibre rebuild on demand?
