Car charger for 1150?
Hi again all,

Im going to be doing some traveling for xmas this year (going to wifes mother and grandmother )

And I was wondering if there was a car charger for the 1150 that anyone has found.

What are the power specs for the 1150?

There is one solution. Get a DC to AC car adapter and then you can pug in the AC charger for the 1150.

the eB-1150 uses 12 Volt input to charge the unit. I suspect it would be fine with just a cable but I would suggest email to ebooktechnologies to make sure.

The AC car adapter bit works great BTW. Canadian Tire had a sale on them last christmas ($4.95) and I bought 20 of them, kept one for myself and I gave the rest away to my clients. If that sale comes back I"ll be buying more.

(Back on topic) I've charged my 1150 using the regular plug and this adapter a number of times since I've had the ebook.
