Hot Fix Release AGAIN: Android 5.4.4.8 (399) - Book Reader Issue SD Cards
Hey Everyone,
Sorry for the delay of the hot fix with the reader apps. We identified the issue which was related to SD cards on Samsung devices after the initial hot fix. We have added this to our test cases moving forward and we are really sorry for the interruption to your service. We are releasing this hot fix to address this issue, 5.4.4.8 (399). Known issues that will be followed up with another release: -Dropbox not having covers Thank you for being patient with us, the version should take a couple hours to be released. Alex |

and box.com does not work either. 5.4.4.8 tested. fails to set path to library ( see my other posts)
maybe wait until you can release a version that fixes all the known cloud issues ? & maybe test Google drive also, for a full set ? |

It almost works for me. I can open and read books from a SD card, but I can't annotate them. but that's for another thread.

No, please release the SD card fix. CC for anybody with a Samsung + SD card is dead in the water when it worked fine several days ago. The last update broke it; at least get access back to pre-update. Get it working again, and we can turn updates off while the cloud stuff is worked out. I got complacent and let updates happen automatically. Mistake....
Waiting on 5.4.4.8 to show up in the Playstore. How long does that usually take? Update: gotta love Murphy. While i was typing, 5.4.4.8 showed up. Updated, and it's working again. Thx! Last edited by AnitainTN; 05-08-2020 at 08:31 AM. |

Another issue:
Previous versions showed progress both in app and in notification (notification showed total number of books to load/loaded number). Now I don't see this notification (this happens on both Galaxy Note 10+ with Android 10 and with Nexus 9 with Android 7.1.1) Notification with numbers was helpful on long syncs. |

It would also be very nice if, when CC says "Cannot write to book file" it will SAY name of this file - right now it's necessary to do a lot guessing to find out what file it doesn't like.
