Temp folder when running from source

I recently set CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR set to D:\Temporary\Calibre\temp (partly convenience, partly to get all those writes off my system drive). This works when I'm running stable. However, if I run from source, I noticed it instead writes to %LocalAppData%\Temp. Is this intended?

Running from source or not doesnt change the behavior of CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR. Are you sure you are setting the same env var for both?

Does using calibre-debug instead of calibre change that behaviour? Otherwise I'm not sure how you'd use a different env var.

No, it doesnt. You are presumably usinga bat file to launch calibre-debug, try setting it there.
