I am aware of the current issues with kobofirmware (which started yesterday). Kobo seems to have just released a new version, 4.13.12638-s, which has broken my version parsing (which expects numeric versions). I'm currently looking into this to figure out what this version is about.

For now, you can still download the firmware by pressing the "Other Versions" button on the right side of the table.

Update: The sha1 hashes of the zips for kobo6 are:

Update 2: The manifest.md5sum files are the same in both, as is the revinfo and last modified dates.

Update 3: The contents are the same. I wonder why this update was made.

Update 4: This might be unrelated, but my stats for the API proxy are showing a few errors querying the Kobo severs recently. It works fine right now.

Update 5: Calling the API with the current version set to 4.13.12638 returns no upgrade. Now I am really confused about the point of this upgrade.

The only field which has changed is zipSize, which doesn't mean anything significant.

Update 13: I've added proper handling for the -s versions to kobofirmware. The version will now appear properly on the page and will be in the list of previous versions.

Ok, thanks. That still leaves me scratching my head though ... maybe they just wanted to break my firmware page or send us on a wild goose chase looking for changes ?

I don't think they did if for either reason, but, I think at least one of the Kobo people in the beta took some enjoyment out of it the latter.
