Book(s) by Dante Alighieri

So I have a question-are there three books or is there one with the 3 poems/stories? I don't know how many I'm looking for exactly. Is that public domain and if it is, where would I download it from? Be nice ladies and gents, I'd like to be able to read it, lol. Translated version or original Italian, it doesn't matter. Thanks!

You want The Divine Comedy see public domain Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/authors/d#a507 In three parts: Hell, Paradise, Purgatory ... not necessarily in that order.

Barnes & Noble are currently giving away a very nice B&N Classics annotated edition of The Inferno, in the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow translation with the Gustave Doré illustrations.

It's not only got explanatory foot and endnotes for the vocabulary and various allusions, but also comes with a bunch of essays about Dante's life and milieu and the cultural impact of The Inferno.

If you miss it from this week's rotating Build Your Own Free Classics Library promo, it's also available as part of B&N's NookStudy welcome kit, which you get access to after downloading the app.

I should warn you that B&N require a credit card # even for free books, because the last 8 numbers are used as part of their social DRM scheme. Also non-US customers will have to acquire a US shipping/billing address of some sort and a US-based VPN IP proxy wouldn't hurt.

But aside from that, it's a really nice edition and well worth the download. They've also a similar version of part 2 of The Divine Comedy, The Purgatorio, but it's not currently free.

I checked out the epub version and this is what he wrote:

(Note: I did only split the texts at each "part": Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, not at each Canto. That makes the files larger that 300 kB, so the book won't probably work on Sony devices.)

At least I'm on the right track, I just wanted to get all three in the 1 ebook. If the book is The Divine Comedy and that has all three then I will get on with buying/downloading it. Thank you for your help!
