Sony Reader for Mac update
I think this just came out. The update description says:

This update to Reader for Mac (1.1.05.13310) addresses the following item:
- Fixed note duplication under certain conditions when synchronizing books with PRS-T1.
Important note: please delete any remaining duplicated note on PRS-T1 after software update.

It came out last week. I've installed it and have not noted any problems. Other people have reported that it does indeed fix the duplicate notes issue. The discussion was buried in other threads so many probably missed it. I think you are the first to post a dedicated thread which probably hints at how many people have given up on the new Sony software. At least they have now done several updates. Still more work to do make it more stable though.
