Just got a note from Amazon US that one of the books on my wishlist was on sale. Upon investigating further, all eight of the Nikki Heat books are US$1.99 - and a ninth that I didn't know was coming (Heat Storm) is slated for May, described as "Nikki Heat teams up with Derrick Storm."

For those saying "I know that name from somewhere," this is the series created as a tie-in to the Castle TV show. The show's done, but the fiction lives on...

And they are probably written by Patterson or his minions.
