Question about indexing
I just loaded a bunch (around 200 hehe) of books using calibre. How do I get the kindle 2 to start indexing, and how can I tell if it is? Does kindle need to be on to index or can I have it in sleep mode while it does it?

It should index the files while in sleep mode. The original Kindle did.

Do a search (for anything you like) and when you get to the results screen, it will show you if any books remain to be indexed.
