Keyscan files on SD for keyboard remapping, PLEASE
I use the onscreen keyboard with a Dvorak mapping, and with the new updates this is almost nice : )
But, when I plug a USB keyboard in, the Linux scan codes take over, and I lose my ability to softmap my keyboard. It would be great if the underlying OS checked for "updated" key files in (SD?) user space, and used them to supersede the default mappings. This would also allow the over mapping of USB function keys to Edge functions; Rotate etc. This should be an easy modification, and would keep me from rooting my Edge for this feature. |
