Device: boox nova pro
device with even light and indented screen.

I found that my boox nova pro catch glare of light bulb on the ceiling and need to move around to be able to read. Backlight is very uneven. At some point top of screen would be yellow-ish and bottom half would be blue-ish. The light leak at bottom edge annoys me all the time. I heard that kobo forma has light band issue too.

Any advice on devices without those issue?

Nook Glowlight Plus (2019 model). The screen is a bit indented and there's less glare than on the flush screens of my Kindles. While the frontlight is not absolutely, perfectly even, it's still pretty good, without any glaring faults. I noticed a tiny bit of light bleed in the dark, but it's not visible in a lighted environment, unless you crank the light way up.
