order update thread

hi,

for those waiting for their order to ship, i thought it might be nice to be updated about other mobileread orders.

whenever your order status CHANGES, post your new status here.
i suggest the following format:

order number, shipping country
complete order history from the irex shop (click on your order on the first screen after login)

it should look like this:

-------------------------------------------
#510, germany
07/04/2006 Order not comfirmed
07/04/2006 Order comfirmed, processing
07/12/2006 Paid not shipped
-------------------------------------------

we should get a good overview of units shipped, in transit etc.

oh, and please only post in this thread if your order status CHANGES!
DO NOT POST your current status or any other stuff in here. this will make this a much cleaner threat.

it's hard to spot the new/changed entries there.
in this threat it's new message = status changed

and PLEASE DO NOT post your current status ... only if it changes

ok, i give up.

this would have been so easy -> you come to mobileread and immediately can see if there is something moving with current orders (new unread messages in this threat) or you could have subscribed to this threat and could have gotten all the updates via email ... nothing for you to check, you just get the info

maybe this was a bad idea ...

There is always more than one way to do it. And i think both ways are valid and can be used. Why not drop a line here and change it in the wiki?

Sorry to be a busy body, but at first I thought the thread title was a typo, but after seeing you type it several times I had to butt in. These message strings are called "threads" not "threats".

The only way I can see them called threats is if everyones orders were pushed back another month.
