Yeah I've had more PMs today than I normally get in a month!
I've reported them. |

The board is getting hammered the last couple of days with these. They're swatting accounts as fast as they can. You should just delete the PM without bothering to even open it. Unfortunately, even as they delete the accounts, the PM stays on the board, unlike with a regular forum message where they can delete not only the account, but all messages posted by the account.

Since I’ve been on here for 12 years, I’m curious whether a CAPTCHA was ever added to the registration process?

I got 1 yesterday and 3 today. Interestingly, the one yesterday was from an older forum account (10/2016) where the user actually had a few posts. I wonder if he got hacked?
Also, since the eBay URL seems to be the same each time, perhaps someone with a UK eBay account could report the listing to eBay? I'm guessing that what's listed violates eBay's terms. |

We're trying to deal with it as fast as possible and to do a preemptive ban when we can.
In the meantime, if the sender has already has been banned, just go ahead and delete the message. Nothing more can be done at our end. It's a nuisance all around and let's hope it blows over soon. |
