Emailing Books Error

Hi everyone,

This is my first post in the forum, and I apologize if I am in the wrong section. When I try and email some books to my Send-to-Kindle Email, I get this error:

calibre, version 0.8.52
ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>AttributeError</b>:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split'

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 988, in dispatch_sync_event
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\email.py", line 230, in send_by_mail
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split'

I click on the Connect/share button in the top right, and then click on "Email to [mykindleaddress]" and then the above message pops up. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

That will happen if the book you are trying to email has no actual files. Can you view the book?

Ah, thanks. I didn't realize that my books didn't all transfer.
