about bug: good I think the "random document" is opened because Nichel takes the touch performed to close the launcher.
about text editor: ok, but I'm not a typist, I usually read the nonsenses I write ^^ other things: Do you plan to insert also a bash, and more difficulty levels for gomoku? For a future game, I want to suggest Pearl PS: thank you for the free key |

? Is this a "write it yourself"? :-P
EDIT: or are you saying "you can write shell scripts, modify the kobotweaks.ini and voilà"? Unluckily you can't open files or change the output path with the editor. Last edited by Lucas Malor; 04-18-2013 at 03:28 AM. |

1) a text file, for instance "myscript.txt" in the notepad text files folder 2) a bash script file, for instance "runmyscript.sh" that copies the "myscript.txt" to any place (or to the same folder) with the new name "myscript.sh" and then executes it. 3) an new entry in the ini file of the kobo launcher to the effect that you can call runmyscript.sh (I guess you can also use kobotweaks.ini here, if you still have a free slot) Next you would write some commands into the "myscript.txt" file, save it, close notepad, launch "runmyscript.sh" from the kobo launcher. For those characters you are likely to use in your scripts, but are not accessible via the keyboard (I did not see ">", but maybe it is somewhere there) you could prepare the "myscript.txt" file on your pc and include the needed characters in as comments in order to copy and past in when needed. Another way would be to write some placeholder strings instead fo those characters and replace them by some commands in the "runmyscript.sh". I know this is not very comforable, but it seems to me an acceptable way of dealing with the operating system for small tasks. |

Can I move notes to my pc if I want? And the launcher looks like book and I just find it, tap it and choose app?

Yes, the notepad saves the text as txt-file on the user partition. You can copy it to your pc.
This is how it works. |

Thank you!
I apologize in advance if answers should be obvious, but: the firmware on my kobo is 2.5. Does this matter? Should I avoid sync and updates after installing launcher? Are the instructions on link in first post all, or is there something to be done before-hand? Will this erase my books and Adobe id? If I make a mistake can I return kobo back to original state and try again? If I pause game/notepad, then say, read a book, when I return to launcher will it remember where it was? Can I reopen and edit notes? |

Changed files: libKoboTS.so Lucas, this fix should solve the issue but I'm waiting for your confirmation because I can reproduce this problem very rarely. Quote:
Just after device turning on and before KoboLauncher start just open any epub. After closing it you can open KoboLauncher. Yes, launcher (if properly installed) is started when you open "launcher.png" file from the shelf. |
