usb for Sony 500
I recently bought a used Sony 500 book reader on e-bay, mostly to read books from Gutenberg.
It did not come with any of the cables or software. I found a charger easily but am having trouble figuring out what kind of usb cord I need. There are so many different types available that I'm getting more confused the more I search! Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Normal cable provided has an "A" plug (the larger flat type) on one end and a micro-USB on the other end... good luck and try to get the seller to guarantee it'll work with the PRS 500.

You need not micro, but mini USB. You most likely have one already - they're used for lots of electronic devices - cameras, small USB hard drives, PSP and so on. Here's a picture of a typical mini-USB cable.
