Tried this just now, they still don't appear in the Aa Menu. How are you supposed to change a book's font after transferring new fonts over to /fonts?

They should appear in Aa menu under “Custom” or “User” submenu.
Fonts should be in ttf (or something else, there is a Readme file). Maybe you should also restart |

When I click on "Custom", no submenu opens, it does like a 1 second refresh and then nothing changes, it stays on the exact same screen: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ef...mmucFQSQWmTAz3 And within the Aa menu after I click on "Font & Page Settings" all that appears are the default fonts: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ed...0L47bPpWfOIACn |

Strange.
Did you just put ttf files inside fonts folder? They shouldn’t be in separate folders. Did you restart Kindle after font trasferring? |

What is your book format?
Try .mobi, .azw3, .kfx On my PW3 5.9.7 at least .azw3 has custom fonts. |

Have you tested with different books? It doesn't work consistently for all books (in my experience anyway).

Maybe there is a problem with the fonts?
Try putting something very common like Calibri or DejaVu Sans |

font hack for Pw1 running 5.6.1.1
I tried this hack tonight on my old Pw1 (2012) which has been jailbroken and has all the required files, but is also updated to 5.6.1.1. Nothing changes, the new fonts don't get added to the list. Do I have to use the font override feature? THanks..

kp2-The screen protector is not perfect
When reading horizontally, the custom lock screen cannot achieve the expected effect perfectly. Is this normal?
The partial coverage achieved by the vertical reading lock screen is perfect |

I have a question on the bookerly font, im aware version 1.000 is for LCD and version 1.010 is for e ink. Is every new version after 1.010 the e ink version?
I read on a normal tablet, so im only interested if the LCD version had any update after 1.000 |

:?
I imagine the Android app ships a version better suited to LCDs, and the Kindle FW one better suited to eInk. But since that distinction usually lies in unhinted vs. hinted, and that the Kindle FW now ship an unhinted version, the point might be entirely moot. (Sidenote: I have no experience with either the Android version, or newer "eInk" versions). |

So the bookerly in the android app is 1.000 which means the lcd never updated. Now i only have one question, 3/4 of those font files are properly named, but the italic is named "Bookerly-RegularItalic.ttf" instead of "Bookerly-Italic.ttf", Would this confuse koreader?
As of now the italics are correct, if anything goes wrong all i have to do is rename the file right? |
