Flash Lite Compatible Websites

While trying to figure out how to make Skyfire 3.2 with built in Flash 10.2 to work on my PE (plays videos but I can't get little Buffer screen to disappear), I ran across a few websites that will work with the PE's Flash Lite. In order for these to work you CANNOT have any other Flash installed (like Flash Player 10.1). Please add to this post if you run across additional sites.

Comedy Central (just watched Dark Lord Minions, Wii Fit Girl (tosh.0), and The Daily Show Week in Review April 11, 2011). There are hundreds of clips available.

ESPN (just watched the Dunk of the Night)

Daily Motion

American Idol

Vimeo works great. BBC videos have sound but no video.

MTV (just watched Jersey Shore Hook-Up: Episode 25: Worst Employee of 2010). NO, I don't normally watch Snooki.

VH1 (just watched Mob Wives 102. Now that's quality stuff)

Country Music Television

Nickelodeon

Major League Baseball (You will receive a message that MLB is unable to determine which video format your phone supports. Manually select 3gp format)


OK, this is kind of curious. When Flash Player 10.1 is installed, Flash Lite supported websites NO longer work. Maybe you cannot have both installed at the same time. I'm curious what might happen if Flash Lite is removed and Flash 10.1 is installed instead.

You can download it at Freeware Lovers. Won't do you much good because I was not able to get video to play using it. The websites listed here will play right on a Pocket eDGe and I'm assuming the eDge using the installed Flash Lite. Actually the Pocket eDGe has plenty of power to run Flash. Its 1.2 GHz Marvel PXA168 processor supports Flash. http://www.marvell.com/products/proc...pxa_168_pb.pdf

Want more evidence. Skyfire 3.2 is a browser with built in Flash 10.2 support. Skyfire will play Flash video on the Pocket eDge with one minor problem, the small Buffer screen will not close.
