Image Quality

Hihio all together!

My Cybook arrived yesterday, and i am very pleased with it.

I'm only wondering about the image-Quality - is it normal for the device that there is some little - lets call it "snow" - in the background? If you look very carefully, you can see that the display is not only "black" where the text is and completely "off" around the text - there is a little bit noise around.

Is this normal for the device, or does this only happen with my device?

Das Cybook hat um den Text herum - wenn man ganz genau hinschaut - keine komplett ausgeschaltete Anzeige, wie wenn das Gerät selbst aus ist, sondern es ist extrem feiner "Schnee" zu sehen, welcher beim Lesen zwar nicht stört, aber bei genauem hinschauen doch zumindest zu erkennen ist.
Ist das normal, oder hat mein Gerät hier einen Fehler?

Correction: Ist even there if the Device is turned of - maybe its normal for E-Ink displays? Sorry for asking, but its my first device of this kind
