right....
I guess I could hardcode the location but the bindmount is supposed to take care of the /usr/share/pal what does ls * in /usr/share/pal say? perhaps I messed up? |

If it's anything like a consolation: the same thing just happened to me only a few hours ago, when I was writing the "tap zones" patch for JBPatch: I had accidentally reversed "always" and "never" in the descriptions, and was going crazy to find the apparent bug. It took me more than half an hour to find it
After all, we're all just humans/idiots |

Give it a break.. you'll find the solution eventually..
Wish i could jump in.. but my linux know how not enough.. what's a bind mount..? Tried again.. The correct message is "Transport endpoint is not connected.." Also it occurs only when i put a space before the "|".. like "./pal |more" "./pal|more" works as expected.. But once i get the "Transport endpoint.." error, all further calls to ./pal give the same message |

yeah. basically what is happening is I BIND one folder to another.
literally, so one becomes the other... but bind it twice? and all hell breaks loose. I'm clearly doing that somewhere. DOH! |
