Installiation Issue

Trying to install Calibre 64 bit version on a Windows 10 base system. Installation fails with the following maessage "Calibre 64 bit setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified." I have no idea what this means. Is there someone who can help me with this issue?

All that means is it tried to install and ran into something that blocked progress.
The second part does not really apply on an initial install. If you were doing an upgrade, then it says, we put back the pieces we had changed (left as it was)

Common issues:
Admin rights are needed (and you must approve, when UAC asks for permission
Antivirus/firewall blocking. Try suspending the A/V (and be careful what else you do while it is suspended)
You left a previous Calibre install RUNNING, while trying to UPGRADE (this is not your issue?)

Have tried all suggestions and problem still exists.

@gray2000 - if all else fails, try installing the 32bit version.

If you're using Windows as an AV, "Controlled Folder Access" is turned on by default, and blocks writing to various common user folders. So if you're trying to write to one of them, it might be blocking.
