disable unused device interface plugins?
Most likely a stupid noob question (most of my questions are).
Calibre features a lot of enabled device interface plugins. Would it make sense to disable the ones I do not use? Or would that make no difference at all to calibre? |

It is perfectly possible to disable the unused device interface plugins. However there is normally no need to do so as they only become active when a matching device is detected via USB.
Another consideration is that at a later date you may plugin in a new device type and forget that you disabled the corresponding plugin. |

Thank you for the replies.
I suspected as much, because I am sure it would have been mentioned otherwise in the quick start guide or on the website. I just wanted to be sure. Thanks again. |
