I just opened the last bag of Sumatra beans, and made a fresh cup of coffee. I am beginning to really like it.

I feel a blue 'cause I can't sew
There's still a lot of things that I should know Anyone can guess I don't know how to press My Saturday clothes Everyone's goin' home I feel a little sad to watch them leave But I'll be cool because I don't believe The happy times are gone I can still put on My Saturday clothes Every warm body knows ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4anOSSGm6U ) Sunday morning, coming down... Good morning, everyone! Getting rescued from Saturday with a big mug of East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea. A great day at the Fencing salle followed by a spectacular Flower Festival parade, and then dinner with friends. All in all, a perfect Sunday! If there is one thing Thailand does well, it's 'flowers.' (Chiang Mai is called 'The Rose of the North') And for a parade in the Flower Festival, huge floats covered with so many different varieties of flowers. The aroma in the air was incredible. Unfortunately, I also went through a box of tissues. Flower Festivals are rough when one suffers from Hay Fever... Stitchawl |

What an exciting day, even with hay fever.
Finally home and getting settled with a chocolate muffin and fresh coffee. |

At this rate, we'll never get above freezing today. Definitely a day for Lion Mountain Keemun!

Gray, cold, rainy day outside, as I wait for my Sumatra coffee to brew. Time to get all the laundry done and the floors mopped. *sigh* Sometimes, I hate being a responsible adult. Staying in my pj's and watching movies sounds much better for a rainy day.

Second mug of tea.
It's so overcast out there that the sky is the same shade of gray as the snow. It all just flows together. And, it's cold. |

A veritable heat waver here, we're up to 4 degrees in the sun. And we do have sun, so I won't complain. Third steeping of Lion Mountain Keemun, except this time I tossed in a bit of fresh to go with the existing. I can get two steepings out of this Keemun without any noticeable change, but the third gets a bit weak if I don't toss in a little bit of fresh. |

Second pot of Oolong, about 36 ounces per pot. Little Man is wandering by carrying wooden trains. Off to see what he is up to.

I remember Grandma telling me that I was born
as the sun was coming up early in the morn'. Told me I was born early in the morn'. When you lift your eyes and See the sun a risin' on the far horizon early in the morning ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeWsoPwewDo ) Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! Sun's up... me too! Ready for the Food Lady and her cart of delights! There is a mug of Viang Joom On's "English Breakfast" tea sitting here, actually the second mug-full. I sort of chugged the first one cuz it tastes so good. Nice day today, with a bit of shopping followed by lunch with friends, then a guitar lesson in the afternoon. It's getting hard to find a solid two-hour time slot for reading. I may have to break it up into two separate times... Hmmmm... Poor planing on my part. Gotta work on that! Stitchawl |
