Upating books in Calibre
Hi,

I buy many books from Amazon and quite ofte a book is updated.
If I transfer the updated book to Calibre then I of course have a copy.

The first time the book came to Calibre I updated all kinds of metadata, tags cover, description, conversion to epub and so on.

Is there an easy way to transfer the metadata to the updated copy?
I will then of course have to make a polish and a new conversion to epub.

select the existing book record. reigh click the add books button and select "add files to selected book records" and choose the updated file, it will no overwrite the old file.

Or select the exiting book record and drag and drop the updated file onto the book details panel
