That sounds great! I was hoping it wouldn't be as "warm" as the H20 is. The H20 was fine when I first got it, but after having the Voyage and Oasis, it's not as pleasing to my eye.

Didn't expect there to be any color shift from a Kobo. They seem to have mastered that aspect in their products. Who knows why Amazon continues to struggle in this area, no matter how high-priced the model.

Can't wait for mine to arrive!!! Woot Woot!

Had a read for an hour, its like going back to reading a hardback with the amount words on the screen. Less page turns definitely makes for a more immersive experience, more than I expected. Don't think I'll bother changing the screen temperature for night reading, I prefer a cold light. Although the effects lower down the scale are very subtle.

You probably should hide the serial number in that. It is the first value, x-out everything after the N709.

When you are selecting text to highlight it underlines what you have selected, but after you release and tap the add highlight option it should be making it a solid fill (at least that's how it's always worked on previous firmware). There is no option for changing this behaviour.

Calibre 2.65.1 (windows 64bit) side loading a epub novel.

Error message "warning failed", "kobo database version unsupported"

Details

Your Kobo is running an updated firmware/database version. As calibre does not know about this updated firmware, database editing is disabled, to prevent corruption. You can still send books to your Kobo with calibre, but deleting books and managing collections is disabled. If you are willing to experiment and know how to reset your Kobo to Factory defaults, you can override this check by right clicking the device icon in calibre and selecting "Configure this device" and then the "Attempt to support newer firmware" option. Doing so may require you to perform a factory reset of your Kobo.
Device database version: 127.
Device firmware version: (3, 20, 6894)

Novel does end up on the Aura One.

@pagepack I also have a PW2 currently. If it's not too much trouble could you post side by side shot of PW2 and A1 at similar font size? I know comparison pics are fraught with dangers but I'm bored
