Why can't I convert an LRF file to ePub?

First use ABC Amber Sony Converter (http://www.processtext.com/abcsonylrf.html) to convert your LRF file to another format (doc, html, etc.) and after that you can use Calibre to convert it to epub.

Calibre doesn't support LRF as an input format. You can only convert to LRF not from.

And then lose all the graphics and styles. Not worth it.

But, you can use LRFTools to do the conversion.

Many thanks folks, but I am on a Mac so can't use Amber Converter. Any other suggestions?

Did you read my post? LRFTools is in Java so it will run on Windows, OS X, and Linux.
