I have read a comment here before that the kobo is simply a rebranded Netronix eb600. Just wonder what evidence we have that this is true.

Well, look at the thing for one. All the buttons and ports are in the correct place. I also imagine it would show up on the pictures displaying the tear down.

most of the others that have 1000mAh batteries also claim 7000-8000 page turns. (see the lines in the grid called "power" and "battery life")
