Looking to recover a Kobo ARC

Hi all. New to this forum. A friend of mine came to me for help after her Kobo ARC started crashing on her. Now it will not even boot. We get the Kobo ARC slplash screen, the unit reboots, splash screen again, followed by blinking power LED and the Android System Recovery <3e> menu. I have tried a few different loads via ADB, but all seem to fail. Any suggestions? Is there any where i can get the recovery firmware to load via ADB?

This is the 4.0.4 ICS image posted by Kobo-Robin elsewhere in this forum.

Try to sideload it via ADB.

Afterwards, you need to boot into recovery and do a factory reset. The reset must happen AFTER the image is flashed.
