I loved the simplicity of the PB360, cause is made for reading only, not browsing or listening to music or anything else. Just reading, which is what I wanted. |

I don't understand how some of your PB360's are getting cracked screens, while others of us haven't had any problems. Are there different screens in different batches of readers? I've had mine for over 12 months and I've dropped it on the floor twice and the screen hasn't broken.
Other than those two accidental drops, I've been very careful with it. Apart from a couple of firmware issues, which are pretty much resolve for me at this point, I've been extremely happy with my 360. I use it for at least a couple of hours a day. |

Never dropped it or hit it or treated it roughly. And according to what I've read here, I'm not the only one. |

I unserstand the screen being anthother kind of problem, like the wheels in a car I guess. It doesn't matter if you get a flat tire the next day you got your new car, the car seller can't be responsible for a nail in the road, even if there was no nail and the tire was not perfect to begin with. But if something prevent you from starting your car, because one of the brand new piece broke! I don't understand the logic here. The on/off button, waranty or not, is an essential piece of the PB. You couldn't start your PB seven weeks after purchase, it looks like a built in default. But I'm impress with your coolness about it Hidari, if you're considering buying from PB again after that. I wouldn't. |

Having said that, I worried when I first got my 360 that removing and replacing the cover might bend the screen and cause it to break. I wonder if that's the problem for some people. I don't think any manufacturer covers screen breakage in their warranty, do they? |

The warranty not only doesn't cover the screen, but its replacement cost $10 less than buying a new PB360 (not including your/their shipping). So your immediate reaction is NOT repairing but replacing the device entirely. If they'd replace any faulty part by say a fixed price of $80.00, you might consider not looking at/buying other devices, because the PB360 is, by all means, a very handy and neat reader that also by all means you wanna keep. But no. That's why I looked at other devices and bought another brand. |

First mention I've seen of a "pocketbook 360 plus":
http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/201...e-ink-ereader/ I'd take it with a grain of salt. Cute video, though. |

I won't touch any PB product again until they fixed the mess with the 90x models. They will repeat history : building good hardware, make promises, sell them, bad software, no fixes....ignore complaints...build new good hardware.....

Well, I got my replacement. The Sony PRS350. I have to say, Sony has very much improved their software for this version. I'm very happy with it. And the pearl screen is absolutely wonderful!
