Please recommend long pulp series
Hi,
I am very busy with work these days, I would like to read some simple, humorous and long pulp fiction series. One point-of-view, nothing to do with military, and fantasy (not urban fantasy) are must haves. I also don't care much for romance. Also, I don't have access to Kindle Unlimited. Books should be available in Google Play Books. Mostly a monetary problem, Google Play Books sells with locally adjusted prices for me. Amazon is fine for one or two books but not for long series. Thanks. Last edited by GERGE; 10-14-2017 at 08:51 AM. |

Try this page:
http://manybooks.net/categories/PUL All the books are either public domain or creative commons, in other words, free. I'm not sure what Turkey's copyright laws are. BEWARE manybooks do now carry some books which are priced, just avoid these if you want. Also, if you find a book you like, check to see if it's in the MobileRead library - the books here are better formatted than they are at manybooks. Have fun! |

Do you mean pulp stories from the 30s - 50s?
And, if so, what genre? |

Robert E. Howard's Conan and Breckenridge Elkins stories. Short story series, not novels. . .

What you'd really need is Doc Savage (183 novels), but it has never been released commercially, and the main writer won't go PD until 2030 in life + 70 countries.

Also, I might add, there the ones continued by Will Murray. (I haven't read any of these, by the way.) |

Thanks.
I read Leiber and Howard, but others are all new to me. I will start checking them. (I also made a 12 year calendar reminder with Google for Doc Savage =) ) |

I'd also second both Robert E. Howard's Conan and Fritz Lieber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series
Never mind! I just saw your post |
