Need a new charger for a Gemstar 1150

Hello,

I am looking for a charger for a Gemstar 1150 I picked up and was wondering if anyone knew of a specific charger to buy. I have looked at some universal chargers and it appears the all the power tips are too large to fit the reader. Any advice would be helpful.

Check the flea market forum here. There was a broken EBW1150 there that came with a charger. Otherwise I'm hoping someone who is more into the hardware hacking aspect of life will post for you.

Seems to me that the type of charger needed for the ebookwises are funky and the general universal chargers don't work for some reason.

This is my reply from the above mentioned thread,

I use Radio Shack's 273-1775 with tip "A" (comes free with purchase) and tip set to +.

Also works for my Rockets.
