B & N - allow UK ebooks for sale?
I read this article on the BBC website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19723362

B & N is going to sell it's readers via a couple of major UK retailers from November (or thereabouts). At the moment they don't sell non-US written books as far as I am aware. Does anyone know if there are plans to change this?

The issue isn't who wrote them where but rather who publishes them.
B&N hasn't sold ebooks outside the US because their publisher deals only involved US retailing rights. Now that they are selling ebooks in the UK they have to secure deaals with UK publishers.
So, what they will sell in the UK is what UK publishers carry.

As of right now, nope.
They have been holding conferences and presentations in in the UK so they should be opening up soon. But not yet.
B&N seems to be a firm believer in taking things one slow step at a time.
