Post Better apps coming to Android

Here's an interesting article: http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/11/a...n-for-android/. The immediate article doesn't mention the version of Android required.

It's an example of a significant iPad app becoming available for Android slates, which in our case is the LCD side of the enTourage/Pocket eDGe.

This is happening because Android market share is growing significantly, and as a result companies are now seeing a rea$on to put out apps like this for Android.

This can only be good for the eDGe

It's definitely good for tablets that have Market access and Android 2.2, since both are necessary to use this app.

Quote:
The download requires Android 2.2 and brings with it full-screen video, the ability to save articles for offline viewing, market data and more.

Welcome to the forums, tavasam

Full flash support will come to the eDGe but for now TV shows and movies you would have to download to your PC/Mac, convert to iPod video format, and then copy these to your eDGe (using a USB memory stick would work great).

For registration problems, contact Tech Support (http://www.entourageedge.com/support).

I've never used Fring, so hopefully another forum member will be able to assist you on this.
