Saving to Disk Template

Calibre 0.8.7 on Windows 7.

No matter how I specify the template for naming files when saved to disk, I cannot get the file name to display Author - Title. It would seem to be a simple thing, but it turns out Calibre ignores ANY changes I make in the template field, and displays Title - Author.

Have I neglected to set another parameter that controls this?

You may be posting in the wrong forum. Based upon your Answer, I will move this to the more correct place.

Save to disk is for Other than setting the Library filing;
Please read: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=119175

Send to device and Save to Disk have different templates.
If you have made a Plugboard template, that take precedence.

The books in the library will always be Title - Author you can't change that.

What you can change is the format of the book's file name when you use the Save to Disk feature to save a book to any other folder. This is controlled via the Save template found under Preferences - Saving books to disk.
