Mine no longer starts up as well, since the most recent update.

My video card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, updated drivers.

Then try the version of the drivers that shipped with the video card.

One of the main reasons manufacturers release new versions of hardware drivers is to accommodate the whiz-bang features of their latest hardware… which by definition old hardware won't have.

Calibre will not launch!

I updated Calibre to 7.22.0 today, 11/29/24, and now I can't get the program to start. I am using a Lenovo Yoga 6 laptop with Windows 11. Any suggestions out there?

Are you using a laptop with dual video chipsets? If so, set calibre to run with the other video chipset.

If the first suggestion is no good, try adding the following environment variable.

Code:
QTWEBENGINE_CHROMIUM_FLAGS="--disable-gpu"
That will disable the video card for calibre and hopefully allow it to work.

Wouldn't be a Lenovo Yoga 6 of it had dual video chipsets.

I had installed a graphic card Nvidia GT 730, Calibre run good but I stopped updating in 7.16 because issue with viewer and new QT feature. But I changed to graphic card Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050. And it was impossible get Calibre run. I did all people say but nothing work. Of course, I installed studio version of Nvida drivers
