Alternative to Adobe Digital Edition for Linux
Hi,
i'm linux user and i use adobe digital edition with wine. Works, but its not nice. I need ADE to download ebooks from my library. there is no linux version only for mac. Is there an alternative? any command line tool or something that can replace ADE? I need the program only for downloading ebooks. |

I use the DeACSM plug in for Calibre. It basically replace ADE by downloading the ebook from the ACSM file.

I never got ADE to work on WINE.
The DeACSM plug-in works with the *.acsm file. Calibre/plugin downloads the epub when you add the acsm file as if it's a book. I save to disk at once so as to have a backup epub separate from my backups of Calibre. |

Thats New for me that i can download ebooks with calibre. I will test it.
