Not sure how long these have been discounted, but I haven't seen them mentioned before. Special prices seem to be at US shops only. OmniLit has them all at $0.99. Kobo, B&N, Amazon, etc. have some of them at $0.99 others at $1.99.
Sheri S. Tepper, The Family Tree, $0.99 at OmniLit Sheri S. Tepper, Singer from the Sea, $0.99 at OmniLit [edit: now $1.99] Sheri S. Tepper, The Visitor, $0.99 at OmniLit [edit: now $1.99] Sheri S. Tepper, The Fresco, $0.99 at OmniLit [edit: now $2.99] Edit: This seems to be a publisher sale, the original prices were $5.99 - $7.99, the publisher sale prices (from the HarperCollins website) are $0.99 - $2.99, so at $0.99 Omnilit has some of them below the publisher sale price. Edit: These four books are at the top of OmniLit's best sellers list. Prices are now back up to the publisher sale price. Last edited by GeoffR; 08-23-2013 at 09:32 PM. |

Free today on Amazon -The Kaiser Affair (The Drifting Isle Chronicles) by Joseph Robert Lewis
'When a master thief escapes from prison, detective Bettina Rothschild must put him back behind bars before the scandalous fiasco destroys the Ministry of Justice. Her investigation leads from decaying cemeteries where ravens conspire to warehouses where wondrous machines are built in secret, and even to the fabled Drifting Isle above the city of Eisenstadt where an ancient tomb hides a deadly secret. The relentless chase proves taxing for a young woman who relies on her cane and her steamcarriage to get about, but that's where a good husband steps in. While Bettina picks locks and interrogates suspects, her beloved Arjuna defends her from the most brutal and bizarre assassins in Eisenstadt. But as the clock ticks down, Bettina finds too many questions still remain. How did the thief escape from prison? How can he afford to hire so many killers? And why would he go to the Drifting Isle only to steal a giant beetle?' UK http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kaiser-Affai...57991&sr=1-257 US http://www.amazon.com/Kaiser-Affair-...+kaiser+affair |

Thanks. Grabbed them from OmniLit which gave me enough with past purchases for a 10 for 1 free book voucher.

Seven of Greg Egan's books that are published outside the US by Hachette (and sell for £4.99 in UK and over $10 in Aust./Canada/NZ), are now being self-published for the US market on Amazon and iTunes at $2.99 each. See the author's announcement dated 30 July.
I'm not sure whether $2.99 is a limited-time special or will be the normal US price. The seven books are: Quarantine, Distress, Diaspora, Teranesia, Schild's Ladder, Luminous, Oceanic. |

Andre Norton
Amazon (US) has several Andre Norton books for .99 cents. Many of the Witch World series are included. I picked up several of the shorter (around 150 some odd pages) books I didn't yet have.
