Book Editor Not Showing Any HTML Files

I converted my Word doc to an EPUB format and then right clicked on the title in an effort to access the Editor.

Right now, the Editor is open, but no files are displayed on the left hand panel.

All I see is "Live Preview - Here yo uwill see a live preview of the HTML file you are currently editing..."

But there are no files displayed.

What am I missing?

Did you close the file browser? Check to see if under View, the File browser has a checkmark beside it. Have you checked your ePub to see if you created a valid ePub? If not, the editor should be giving you a popup about Failed to open file.

To check the epub, try opening it with calibre's ebook viewer.

As @DNSB suggested, do make sure your File Browser is checked under View. Also, it's worth verifying that the EPUB you created is valid.

Another thing to consider is if there were any errors during the conversion from Word to EPUB. Sometimes, formatting issues or other inconsistencies can cause a problem. You might want to try converting the Word doc again, just to rule that out.

If all else fails, consider updating or reinstalling Calibre. Sometimes, a fresh start can iron out any unexpected glitches.
